This Menlo Park custom designed home was recently featured on the cover of Luxe SF magazine. We’re very proud of this accomplishment!
The home was built from the ground up after demolition of their previous home at the same site. The main focal point of the home was the large open stair against the two-story wall of windows. It’s striking to walk into the home and see this grand architectural feature.
The overall feeling of the home was to have a nod to tradition at moments but overall to be fresh, clean and contemporary. They wanted a bright and happy home for their three young children. You can see this in the paneling, the trim, the cabinetry, and the finish selections. Mary Jo worked with the client to pull items they liked and to make the house feel cohesive with the architecture. To have the rooms be elegant while feeling comfortable and inviting.
